Traditional Wedding Films

Traditional Wedding Films

Traditional films sometimes called Documentary-style films have been a staple within the wedding video and film industry. Today, I continue to offer these types of film to people that want them.

With these series of wedding videos, get a wedding opener which is a 1-3 minute highlight montage, bringing everything together, from you doing your hair and makeup to the venue being put together, the florist, the DJ, the catering, wedding guests and even option drone footage of the venue itself during your wedding day. That is the main difference between the Simple Ceremony Only Package and the Traditional Documentary Video.

From there, you will get the wedding ceremony, complete with a two camera setup, wireless microphone setup typically on the pastor or officiant and me filming it. One camera is an unmanned wide shot while the other is mobile, me filming using a professional monopod.

I edit the ceremony usually from when the grandparents enter to when you walk back down the aisle
as a married couple.

If you choose to continue with the reception, then I will create a small montage that transitions into the reception.

That montage typically are you getting your photos made with the wedding photographer, showing various family members and friends in clips, people making their way into the reception.

During the reception, I will be gathering footage of all the important highlights, the introduction, first dance, cutting of the cake, garter, and bouquet, wedding toasts and moments with friends and family mingling.

The only time I do not film is during dinner service, it's when I take a break, eat a quick meal and prep for the second half of my evening, mainly cleaning the lens, changing batteries, filters and memory cards if needed.

I typically remain until you have an exit which I film or when the last major line item has been completed if you don't have an exit.

Finally, I will wrap up your film by providing you a 1-2 minute closing montage, set to some slow-motion footage and song.

Traditional films can range in length from about 40 minutes to upwards of two hours long. To see what it would cost you for my services, simply fill out the form below and submit it to me. I'll be happy to sit down with you in person and help go over everything I do.

Your financial investment for my documentary films ranges from $650-$4,455.
